Projects

ACTL has been involved for over 15 years in formative and orientation initiatives dedicated to young people to encourage their effective integration in the world of work.

Moreover it develops projects for reintegration into the workplace for specific categories of unemployed. Projects are carried out in collaboration with the European Union, national institutions, companies and public or private organisations both in Italy and abroad.

The following are some of our recent initiatives:


Europlacement
Project Leonardo aiming to create a website to encourage the encounter between students and companies in Europe (with Dutch, Spanish and English partners). The goal of the project was to support an exchange of work experience as well as the opportunity of a stage abroad. Trainees at the moment can use an international electronic marketplace.


F.i.l.o. 40
Project Equal for education and professional re-qualification for the over-40's. The project, over a period of three years, was realised in partnership with other important organisations and includes on the part of ACTL the testing of a model for the creation of a counter service for the over 40's in the Milan area.
The project intends to deal realistically with the issue of discrimination and the gradual exclusion from the workforce of people in this specific age range.
It includes two types of action: in aid of workers over forty, facilitating educational and training programmes, career counselling, monitored stage; on behalf of companies, the introduction of awareness programmes.
